Founder Apostle Elaine W. Green

The Tree of Life ministries began in October 1987 by a divine visitation of God to Mrs. Elaine Washington Green.

In being obedient to the call of prayer, as an intercessor group leader, she immediately began with only four members in her home. In time, they grew rapidly during the first six years. God's word was confirmed to her in Isaiah 56:7, "Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer, their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar, for mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people." The Lord commissioned this intercessory ministry to be multi-cultured regardless to race, color, creed, sex or national origin.

At the end of a six-year period, and entering the seventh year in March 1993, the Lord called Sis. Elaine W. Green into Pastoralship. Throughout this time, the Tree of Life church was birthed. She accepted the call on her life as Pastor, Founder and Overseer of the Tree of Life Ministries. The Lord instructed her that seven churches will be birthed form this ministry. The Tree of Life Myrtle Beach S.C. was birthed June 16, 1996, beginning with only three members.

Tree of Life Ministries is a dynamic multicultural seek out the lost and winning souls for Jesus Christ.

Vision:

To serve the people throughout various communities that stand in the need of food (through our soup kitchen). We shall clothe the naked and bring deliverance to those individuals in need. There will be a school to educate the five-fold ministry, a children's daycare to bring structural development in areas of spiritual and moral growth at an early age according to the word of God - "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
